Bush cracks me up. Imagine if you were at work and your boss called you up and said, "I've heard from poeple tht you're sitting on your duff not doing any actual work, what do you have to say about that?" and your response was, "Well . . . I'll be the judge of my own incompetance, mister!". What a fool.

Trouble is, The Onion has exactly the right amount of truth and too little spin to be satire.

Yeah, it's definitely sarcastic, even cynical, but it's still truth, rather than satire. Scary, really.
