Hee, actually constrictors are shockingly tolerant. Or "lazy". Or down right "comatose". Asuming it wasn't in hunting mode when it showed up, it'll put up with almost anything.
This reminds me of something... My friend had two constrictors of some kind. He emailed me some priceless photos of Spring Cleaning. The snakes were out of their room while it was being scrubbed, and kinda sprawled out in the hall to take advantage of the heaters. The photos were of his two girls with cleaning rags and scrub brushes, busily "cleaning" the snakes for spring cleaning. Kids were 4 and 8 I think. Cute photos. Wish I still had them. *shakes a fist at the hard-drive-failure-gods*
Of course, the snakes in spring were still in the Winter torpor stage, and were only slightly more animate than a pair of rocks.
What? The pic just doesn't show Bagheera and Baloo keeping an eye on young Mowgli and (crap I forget the python's name now). Even Wolf Boys need bath time...
