Just for Lee:

The definition of "Pathetic":

This would work better if Bush could read.

Finally, The 40 Year Old Virgin is the greatest movie I have seen this year, and I watch a lot of movies. Non-stop funny. Absolute funny. Truly awesome. If you're local to me, I'll bet you the price of your ticket that:
1) You'll love this film
or
2) You're defective. Really, really defective. You should be sent back for factory replacement.

It is smurfier than Ong Bak, and that says a lot.

Smurf-y? I don't understand.

Note that I'm aware of Smurfs, but Ong-Bak didn't have small blue woodland creatures, or song-and-dance numbers. Or cats. Or evil wizrds.

Obviously there's some thematic element I'm missing.

Are you aware of how the Smurfs use the word "smurf" and its adjectival construct "smurfy"?

Trust me. Smurfy.

I just travelled across the country with someone whom I had to explain things like what the pony express was, who Wild Bill Hickock and Buffalo Bill were, and why the billboard for Winnemucca, Nevada which read "Butch Cassidy left here rich, and so can you!" was funny.

That's always fun.

Can you tell me what the Dead Man's Hand is, and why it's important?

Re: those letters: ""He's probably the most powerful man in America," she said. "If he hears about it, he can do something about it.""

Ah, sweetie. Ah, my poor sweetie. Ah, the innocence of youth.

Re: 40-Year Old Virgin: What's your definition of "smurfy" in that context?

Non-stop funny. Absolute funny. Truly awesome.

It certianly doesn't involve nearly as many ninjas as Ong Bak. However, you should watch it anyway, because, despite not having ninjas, it is an amazing piece of filmmaking that will make you laugh. A lot.
