Iconage.

Ben Goldacre is my new scientific hero:
"Here's something weird. Every week in Bad Science we either victimise some barking pseudoscientific quack, or a big science story in a national newspaper. Now, tell me, why are these two groups even being mentioned in the same breath? Why is science in the media so often pointless, simplistic, boring, or just plain wrong?"

A not-work-safe just kind of "what the fuck?" picture. Danger, pixellated nipplies. And soap. Lots of soap. Dirty, dirty soap.

"A gross creature which gobbles up a fish's tongue and then replaces it with its own body has been found in Britain for the first time."

For the 2nd thing

All I can think is alcohol, the movie Uzumaki and a Truth or Dare game gone horribly, horribly wrong...

Tragically, I actually knew the bug-tongue thing existed. It's related to wood lice!

Regarding the icon: I'm a midwesterner, and fundamentalism makes me feel icky. I wonder if the contradiction between me and the midwesterners of which he speaks would create some sort of interesting paradox.
