Hurricane Rita, previously expected to max out at Category 3, hits Cat 4 and is still getting stronger.

Pasadena evacuates.

On a similarly disastrous note: The Iraelis say that Iran is less than six months away from having nukes. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant - the Israelis *think* it's true, and that cannot go well for anyone.

Where did the refugees from katrina go? Aren't a lot of them in Texas? Because this evacuation makes it look like it's following them.
