US Army loosens rules to get more warm bodies - accepting dropouts and the mentally incompetent, now, claim that this doesn't mean their standards have been lowered. Fuck, if I were in the Army, I'd be insulted by that last one. That's HARSH.
The general explainining things says "but at least we're retaining more soldiers than expected" - and then, in the very next paragraph, points out that the retention is involuntary and the re-enlistments are coerced.
