I've just gotten back from an hour of Anthrax, followed by two and a half hours of Judas Fucking Priest.

I'm going to headbang until my ears stop ringing. That was awesome.

For consideration: Rob Halford and Christopher Daniels. Separated at birth?

I had an hour and a half of Motorhead last night. How I did it without earplugs I can't understand.

Urgh. Motorhead live is awesome ("This next one is REALLY fast. Don't try to dance to it, you'll break your legs!" and "This is a sad song. It wasn't a sad song when I wrote it, but it is now, because everyone in it is fucking dead." were personal favourites) but I saw them *with* earplugs, and I could still hear everything perfectly, and my ears were still ringing afterward.

It was a club show, and they still had all the speakers set to "stadium", I'm sure. Still, an amazing show.

Well, my left ear has a beeping tone... It's funny, because it's usually my right ear that gives physical pain when the noise gets too loud. That's usually the point where I put the earplugs in, like at the Deep Purple concert earlier this year.

I do have an assortment of other aches and pains, and was completely drenched in sweat (some of it my own) and beer, after being knocked around in the third row from the stage.

It's not that I don't like the music. I just don't like *noise*.

Or ear-ringing.
