One of my cousins grew up on a farm, and they had a small (<10) herd for themselves, including a couple milk-cows. Once, I was there for when she went out to do the milking. The sight of 20-odd farmcats circling around, all purring and yowling and trying to look cuter than their neighbour in order that /they'd/ be the one to get the squirt of milk was funnier than words can describe. ;)
Even funnier, the squirt of milk wouldn't land squarely in their mouth, of course -- and so the recipient's neighbours would all start grooming the stray milk off their fur. Like little furry vultures. ;)
That's one of the Blue Holes in the Bahamas. It's a submerged cave entrance, surrounded by a reef. Jacuqes Cousteau and cohorts once explored these holes on a TV special. There are submerged stalactites in some of them (implying that the sea levl was once much lower), and certain fish hang out there, including sharks, IIRC. No Great Old Ones or aliens, unfortunately.
