theweaselkingSony patents technology to make game discs unplayable on any console except the first one that they are originally inserted into.
No trading. No lending. No renting. If your console dies, you need to buy all your games over again.
They haven't explicitly said this will be on the PS3, yet, but it's Sony. They produce music discs with rootkits.
