Is the person who told him to legally culpable according to any remotely coherent interpretation of the law?

Actually I think he's eligible for a $100 reward.

I sincerely doubt it. Unless anyone can prove that force was applied, or authority was abused (even if it was an *older* brother, that hardly constitutes "authority" once you're both adults), he left a moving vehicle entirely of his own accord on account of being an idiot. I think the coronors ruling will most likely be "death by misadventure".

Which is a polite way of saying "death by stupidity".

Spelling correction; you seem to have a surplus "m" in the middle of "moron". Hope that helps.

-- Steve has encountered such ilk before, of many (or no) denominations.

(P.S. The Law of the Internet reigns supreme... I had to fix over a half-dozen typos in this "spelling correction".)

I'm a Mormon. In fact I even attend church every week. I don't get in a huff when people swear. Though I don't think most people necessarily like talking to a person with the vocabulary of a teamster. Wouldn't jump out of a truck though. Might just decide not to ride with 'em again if they really bothered me. Not all religious people act extreme.

S'ok dude, I wasn't accusing you of anything. Just speaking for the sane members of my religious community.
