The story of the Last Survivor Flask
This silver flask belongs to the Ninth Platoon of the 72nd Seaforth Highlanders. Flask and contents, rum, were sealed at the end of the First World War, and were to be opened and consumed when last two platoon survivors have final grand reunion.
The last survivor died in 1994. The rum has not been opened.
