White House documents prove that representatives of the oil monopoly lied to congress, repeatedly and knowingly.

Boy, it's a good thing that the (Repubican) head of the commerce committee, who receives hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribescampaign contributions annually from these representatives, refused to allow them to be sworn in to testify under oath.

What happens when "9/11" stops being Bush's One True Answer To All PR Problems, and its invocation doesn't work to silence all criticism any more? Well, to start, there's no reason to keep your promises about paying for damages any more, then.

Investigators at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting said on Tuesday that they had uncovered evidence that its former chairman had repeatedly broken federal law and the organization's own regulations in a campaign to combat what he saw as liberal bias.
