For those of you updating to Firefox 1.5, you may experience problems in updating your Extensions if you had "Allow sites to install software" unchecked in the earlier version. This option is no longer used, and so it's no longer in the Options menu, but that doesn't mean it's strictly *gone*.
To fix this, go to "about:config" in the address bar. Type in "xpinstall", and change "xpinstall.enabled" to True. 1.5 handles this is a different fashion than the earlier versions. This will enable you to update your Extensions and install new ones for Firefox 1.5.
