If the cow had been hit by any of the darts, probably (I'm pretty sure you can't/shouldn't eat anything that's been tranq'ed), but according to the article, the authorities missed with all three shots.

Well, you see, DNA evidence can be used to help prove evolution. Since evolution is obviously false, so is DNA evidence.
