Funny you mention the greatest thing to happen to musical theatre ever in the history of all things that ever existed. I had one of the worst songs he ever recorded stuck in my brain this morning, and I still can't get rid of it. Feed my Frankenstein.
WHy not Raped and Freezin' or Teen Lament '74? Why, god, why?

Feed My Frankenstein was awesome. That whole album was great. Admittedly, I may be biased since I picked it up on tape after I saw Wayne's World in 1991 and still have it in my car.

Bah. Here I was getting all excited, and then I realised that your "local" is my "thousands of miles away in the cold frozen north".

Want me to grab Cooper tickets when I get home? Or possibly before? (If before, e-mail me.)

Floor seats? When the tickets have been on sale for twenty-five hours? No go. (Curses.)

So. Lower level? Upper level?

Would you prefer I not wait until after work? I have no idea how sloppy the servers are here, but I suspect they're probably okay.

If yes, I'll grab them at 1:00. If no, when I get home.

I always forget that damn $2.25 processing fee on top of everything else...

Section 18, row F, seats 9 and 10.

Bubble and squeak. The seating chart option is screwed up; there are three different charts you can pull up, it's just that the drop-down menu is blank.

I'm *assuming* that it's the third one, the U-shaped layout with the stage at the mouth, but I hate not being sure.

If yes, note that tickets come to $56.18 after fees, plus the additional $1.75 TicketFast charge, since I lost tickets once and have decided that being able to print out replacements is bliss and wonder.

Have you ever seen him live? He's nothing but a melodramatic baby who thinks it's cool to attempt to harpoon stage hands with mic stands because they pick them up when he knocks them over while thrashing around.

That and he stole his whole stage thing from Nivek Ogre.

That and he hasn't put out anything good in ten years. Downward spiral indeed...

No.

Has this actually interfered with the venue? If so, it's a consideration. If not, I'm not looking to date him, I'm looking to hear music I like.

> That and he stole his whole stage thing from Nivek Ogre.

(1) It cannot possibly be worse than a bunch of dead guys having a cookout.
(2) Okay. Is this a good person to steal it from, or a bad person to steal it from? I mean, is he ripping off schlock, quality, or an Econoline-Crush-like "Why the hell didn't I stay home and listen to the radio" kind of effect here?

As I said, if I get to pick the setlist...

Is this a good person to steal it from.

He says "Nivek Ogre", and she asks IS THIS A GOOD PERSON TO STEAL FROM?

You're dead to me.

No, no, really this time.

Dead.

When I saw him at the Philly Spectrum years ago, he kept knocking a microphone stand over and a stage hand kept running up and settting it back up. This was repeated perhaps 4 times in the course of one song. On the fifth time, Trent picked up the stand like a spear and hurled it offstage in the general direction the stage hand kept coming from shortly after said stage hand departed from his most recent mic stand reset. Honestly, he looked like a child throwing a temper tantrum. At one point he spent literally 10 minutes doing nothing but breaking instruments and writhing around on the stage. I guess if you're looking to hear a drum and keyboard loop for 10 minutes while he acts like a two year old, go for it. Ah, wait, he destroyed the keyboard.

Admittedly, this was a long time ago so he may have become more rational and a better live performer in his later days, but that show turned me off to him so bad that I'd never see him live again even if he started putting out good music again.

I caught them 5 years ago in Toronto... okay, maybe Maynard softened me up, but I thought it was a decent concert... he played a lot of old favourites and very little off the new album (The Fragile at the time).
