Florida man charged with felony assault for punching out a teacher's assistant after his 15-year-old daughter accused the assistant of molesting her. The catch: The girl admitted that she was lying, she made the whole thing up, and she was claiming assault because the TA caught her pouring Coke out a window on another student. How to tell it's Florida: The father was named "Father Of The Year" by a radio station for it.

I find the appeal of a canoe carrier to be very great and must therefore inquire: Do you have the desire and resources to make this? I would be pleased to assist.

Resources, no, although I could get them from Canadian tire.

Desire, really, no.

But if somebody else made one that fit my canoe, I'd SO sail around with it.

This could kind of work out, except for a few issues:
1: A need of blueprints to work from; and
2: External motivation of some sort.

I think I'd file this under "a nice thought to mull but never implement" barring unusual circumstance.

PS: Busy two weekends hence? Nothing choate yet, just a desire to spend at least part of a weekend acting like a goof.
