Feb. 6th, 2006 08:11 amConnecticut: Even though gay "civil unions" are legal, and state law requires state-regulated health insurance plans to consider "partners" as "spouses", and the insurance that the hospital provides to its doctors is a state-regulated plan, they're *still* not allowing the doctor's "partner" onto the insurance since the hospital pays for everything and so the state law doesn't apply.
