Yes. Brian Froud apparently REALLY DID make Adolph Hitler the main character of a children's book, without giving it away or spoiling the story, and actually got it published.

(For those thinking the name rings a bell: You may know Froud as that guy who did everything art-like in Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal.)
