An implementation of SNAP: SNAil-based data transfer Protocol

Made by Iraelis, it provides a bandwidth of 37,000 kbps, or approximately 1100 times the bandwidth of dialup.

"Please note that while the lettuce router is based on "PULL" principle, there is a way to create a "PUSH" based router, by placing behind the snail, garlic and melted butter. This will insure the forward moving motivation of the snail. The garlic and the melted butter can be mounted on the carriage itself."

The pidgeon based protocall has a better ping time, but SNAP's bandwidth blows it out of the water.

I do have to ask what distance that bandwidth is over, however. I suspect you'd get a certain degredation in performance over long distances.

In contrary to certain American presidents the snail was able to proceed and chew lettuce at the same time.
It's gotta be a bad sign when nobody can pass up an opportunity to take a shot[1] at a certain American president.

[1]Pun certainly intended.
