In defense of my city, I must point out that this did *not* occur in Chicago, but in a far-outside-the-city suburb called Aurora. Seriously, Aurora still has cornfields. It is not Chicago.

(Not that the Chicago public school system doesn't have more than its share of stupid shit going on, but this incident is not ours.)
