I was bitten by an emu as a small child. Seriously.
They're idiot birds, and I really am not fond of them. But other than the whole biting thing (not pecked, bitten!) it's TERRIBLY amusing watching various reporters try and stand infront of an emu paddock and report on them. Within about two minutes of setting up you'll have every emu in the place over standing behind the reporter trying to figure out WTF is going on. And then they start picking at anything hanging off him. Ties, microphones, wires, hair...
