New Jersey schoolboard flatly refuses to fire substitute teacher, in spite of parent's complaints that her existence violates their freedom of religion.

Also, speaking of decent news,
Dubai Ports World, the UAE state-owned-and-run company that bid to take over shipping security, has demanded that CNN stop reporting negatively on them and fire Lou Dobbs, or they will no longer allow CNN access to their facilities or people. CNN says: Screw you.

1) Well, it is New Jersey, where the stereotypical attitude is "screw you". Good for them, though.

2) Wait, journalists are re-growing their balls? Will it carry over to their reporting on domestic stupidity?
Also, does anyone else think that this deal is a bad idea, just from this attempt to shut up Lou Dobbs? Call me a cynic, but any time I hear someone say "you may not report on our operations", I want to know what they're hiding.
