White House Video shows Bush was given clear, unambiguous briefing on the dangers Hurricane Katrina posed, days BEFORE it made landfall.

And, of course, he did nothing. Then, when things all went to shit and he'd spent 4 days hoping they'd get better on their own, he pretended that this briefing never happened and he complained that nobody had anticipated any of the things that went wrong.

Tell me, again, why getting a blowjob from somebody who isn't your wife is an impeachable offense, but roughly ten thousand counts of negligent homicide isn't?

In a sane world, Bush would never have been elected president in the first place. However, the world isn't sane, and the GOP is the political equivalent of Eddie Guerro and lie, cheat and steal at every possible opportunity. Now, if they would only emulate their moral inspiration and all keel over dead so we could have a lovely tribute for them and then mourn them, well, that'd be spiffy, wouldn't it?

Of course, if they did all keel over dead, some other form of politician would crawl up out of the ooze to fill the void.

Well, the problem was Clinton was stupid enough to do something scandalous when his party didn't have full control of both houses... that's what it boils down to... the president is untouchable as long as his party controls both houses.
