Please. Hockey is a sport that aimed at entertaining mutants and farm animals. Watching North American professional hockey is for closeted homosexuals who are terrified you'll notice if they watch wrestling instead, and for those who REALLY want to watch boxing but are too squeamish to admit it.

Hockey is for chumps.

And I safely say this from the far-off land of Germany, where I am surrounded by a horde of FOOTBALL fans who will happily beat the crap out of anyone attempting to defend any other sport on this continent.

"Football" is slow hockey on grass. They both bore me, at least when watching.

It hardly counts as "catching a fish" when the fish reaches up into the boat, pulls himself on board, gives you some advice on your baiting technique, takes the rod, and shows you how to REALLY set a line before settling in and drinking all your beer.
