FYI: It's a "lion cut", and especially in persians, usually means the cats owner wasn't grooming it enough, and the cat itself can't maintain the mutant fur properly with a squashed face. The vet shaves the matts out, but leaves fur where posible so the cat doesn't get any colder than absolutely necessary.
