Was reading something just the other day about how intelligent bears are—which, of course, is one reason they're so dangerous. (Also, they can EAT YOUR HEAD.)
There's that whole "practically invisible in a snow storm and don't really show up on thermal camera or infrared" thing as well, and the "forehead bone thick enough to deflect bullets", and whatnot.
