For the D&D geeks out there, we have a bunch of people coming up with an interesting and original fantasy world setting based around one of the most boring and unoriginal things ever created.

And you know I'm all about taking things that suck (D&D, that monster) and making them not suck again.

If you're at all a fan of high fantasy a la China Mieville, and you know what D&D is, read the original post. The rest of the thread is up to you, if you find the original interesting.

A tad gut-bucking, from here. Yuckers. Sounds like a city a group of characters would have to gift with some freedom and urban renewal... by setting the critter loose.

Wow. That's the best use of a tarrasque ever.

ObNote: Absolutely rocks my damn world.

That said, I'd make the tarrasque bigger.
