the villain from every poltergeist, IIRC. Just more visible in two and three. Though I think he only played Kane in II. He was never seen in one and some other guy played him in 3. unless I'm wildly mistaken.

I thought Kane was the force mentioned in the first movie, but that we didn't see him in a "human" form until the second movie. I shall go check.
