One of our IT admins who runs frequently just mentioned this in a meeting I was in. He said it sounded interesting but since he goes through about three pairs of shoes a year, not cost effective.

I don't know why Warren Ellis calls this "wrong," it would save me counting steps or (if I had an iPod) carrying both the iPod and a pedometer. But as rimrunner said, needs to be a little cheaper.

What I want is a flash-memory MP3 player with speakers, not ear-buds/headphones, that attaches onto a bracket on my bicycle. If it can double as a headlight, that would be a bonus. What is wrong with the designer people? Where's my shake-proof bike stereo?? After all, there's a bloody shower version.
