Most abusive Oblivion trick EVER.

theweaselkingFor those of you who have played, are playing, or will play Oblivion, I now present to you the most abusive Oblivion thing ever created.
Chameleon.
Or, sure, you may have used it, and liked it, and thought "wow, that's kinda neat". This is not use. This is abuse.
Get into the Mage's Guild (even if you're not a member, the Archmage's chamber contains an altar of enchanting and you can sneak in there when he's gone), take every last piece of armor you've got, and enchant Chameleon into it until your combined rating is above 100%. Even if you don't use a ring or an amulet and have to make all the pieces yourself, you've got 5 armor locations and a Grand or Black gem will get you Chameleon 20%.
Poof - Chameleon 100%+ is permanent total invisibility. NPCs and monsters *cannot* detect you, ever, no matter what you do. Ones who are required to talk to you by plot will do so, complete their speeches, and then lose you again. Ones who automatically catch you (caught pickpocketing, guards when you break a law in front of them, etc) will see you, charge over to talk to you, issue their demands... and then lose you again. Want x3 or x6 damage against every opponent, on every attack? Just sneak.
The only disadvantage: Your armor skills will no longer go up, because nobody will attack you, ever, as long as you're wearing your equipment. Aw, muffin, cry me a river.

(More seriously, having actually looked at the site: I like your house rules[1], and the pictures look like you're a good two dozen steps above most games, since people are in costume and the lighting looks appropriate. It's probably a whole lot of fun, for people willing to work around the issues of Sabbat, OWbN, and MET, and your STs appear to have a really, really good handle on the whole "No, dammit, I don't care if it's in the book or your local ST gave it to you. My approval is what matters, nothing else" thing. I admire that. And, hey, New York City - it's not like your pool of potential players is small, so I'm sure you can get yourself a few dozen *good* players and exclude the just-there-as-a-warm-body types. If I'm ever in New York AND wanting to LARP for some reason[2], I'll have to check it out)
[1]: though they don't go nearly far enough in eliminating some of the REALLY OWbNoxious shit built into that system, especially in the Sabbat. When one third of your game are Ventrue Of Cacophony, you really, really, really need to fix or remove the broken badness that is basic and first intermediate Obtenebration.
[2]: A combination about as likely as my being simultaneously blind drunk AND piloting the space shuttle, I admit. Sorry, man, if I'm in New York, I've probably got better things to do than game.

Hell the Head ST of this game has been asked to run one shoot LARPS at 3 big Cons over this summer.
This upcoming Pallgranda in Oct we are having The brothers Grim Freaks show do a promfomance.
It is not a shove head game.

You get people travelling as much for bad games as good, honestly.
But I agree with you - I'm sorry that wasn't clear - it looks like a great game, very much outside what people expect from OWbN, and I'm honestly happy you mentioned it to me, because I really do appreciate it when people bring things to my attention that they think I might like.
I'm just unlikely to ever travel to New York City to play in a LARP.
And the first two lines were meant to be funny. I thoguht they were funny, anyway.
