Due to a wacky series of events involving a severe concussion on the way to work[1], my pager, and My Beloved Corporate Masters' contractual obligations to have *somebody* sitting around doing nothing in case something explodes at 3AM, I was called shortly before 11PM, and I will be at work until sometime after dawn.
You must entertain me.
You must ALL entertain me.
This is desperate. Without entertainment, I will be bored, which is the worst of all possible things.
[1]: Not mine. If it were mine, I would be stuffing myself with Professor McQuackerty's Happy Pills and not getting paid.

Date: 2006-06-13 04:50 am (UTC)But vandalising wikipedia is wrong. That means I'll probably wait until around 4AM before it starts sounding like a really fun idea.

Date: 2006-06-13 04:32 am (UTC)#1: The best games there are download-only.
#2: Installing stuff on the work machine, while not something I object to in and of itself, is not something I want to do with things as hard to clean as PopCap games.
But I've been thinking about it hard, so I'll probably surf over to find what web-only stuff they've got.
I'm frustrated because they paged me without enough time for me to burn a month of The Colbert Report to DVD to bring it in with me. I could have caught up!

Date: 2006-06-13 04:36 am (UTC)I'm going to hit up the regular overnight guys. I know they're packing movies and shit. I brought along 1.2 GB of novels, but didn't have time to burn last month's The Colbert Report.
As for breaks: There's nobody but me to cover things (which is why they needed me in the first place) meaning I can leave things alone any time I want, but not for more than a few minutes at a time Just In Case(tm).

Date: 2006-06-13 04:57 am (UTC)And we can't have that. That's why I'm here, and not sleeping at home right now.
And you can't come into the building, or I'm fired.
I rolled 200,000 clicks on my car on the way in, though.

I don't play with most of their games, but the various "grow" games are all really fun. The downside is that once you solve them, that's it, at least until you wait like months until you forget the solution and do it again.
And in re-finding the URL to give you, I found that they just added a new game to the collection! Excellent!
