It does, however, look an awful lot like my dog[1], and it's being cute doing something that my dog can no longer do as of this afternoon: Run.

Stupid dog blew out her left rear knee, again, undoing the surgery it took to repair it a few years back when she tore it up the first time. Vet said last time that if she blew it out again, they'd have to amputate or put her down - and if they amputate, that's expensive, dangerous, difficult, AND she's such a big dog that she'll just destroy the OTHER back knee in a few months from the extra effort.

My mother is calling the vet tomorrow to get an appointment to see what can be done.

Stupid dog.

[1]: And by "my dog", I mean "my sister's dog who has lived with my parents for most of the last decade because my sister moved to Scotland, and who I've taken care of back when I lived at home and whenever my parents are out of town". "My dog" is just faster than saying all that.

Sorry to hear it. Looks like I'm about a month from losing the 19-year old cat that still lingers with my parents.

I'm sorry about that. I hope there's something that can be done
