Vespa Mandarina, the hunters find and mark the nests of other bees and wasps (the smaller kind) and then several converge on the nest, kill all the coming and going honeybees/wasps (at a rate of 40/second at times), then when all the honeybees/wasps are dead, raid the nest and take larvae for food. The native honeybees can smell the marker, will swarm (500 or so) the giant hornet, and elevate the temperature inside the swarm to kill the hornet by heating it to death. Introduced honeybees just get pwned.
