He's not *that* super...I mean, you can see the bullet causing his tears to splash slightly. What's up with that? Woosie tear fluid? Please.

Maybe "Niftyman" would work better.

There's a scene in J Micheal Straczynki's Supreme Power very similar to this, except the superhero does it to himself...

The bit of that until the bullet is completely flattened is in the trailer, and we saw it in front of X-Men III last Friday. The vocal reaction ("ooooo....") from the audience was perfect.

Greatest use of bullet-time since the original.

I have been geeking over this since I read that Singer was attached.
I've been a Superman fan since I was a little boy. In my teens, I had foresaken him for Batman, as Batman was cooler and Superman was kinda square. Then, I realized that was part of Supe's charm and got back into him.
So, yeah, Superman! Woot and the like!

It looks like they added rifling scoring to the bullet. And the splash wasn't bad, either.

The new guy looks enough like Christopher Reeve that most of us will be able to see this flick as a continuation of the other movies. Hope it's better than the third one.

In terms of continuity, I believe it's set after the 2nd, and ignoring the 3rd & 4th.
