If you're a really really absolutely huge Superman fan who loves everything Superman and the concept of a new Superman movie made you dance with glee?

Then go see this movie.

Otherwise, save your money. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. And Parker Posey's presence, like always, drove the movie into "actively painful" territory every time she stepped onscreen.

What bothers me is that I actively like parkey posey and kevin spacey both, but I thought they were both awful in this film. This Lex Luthor was no better than gene hackman in a wig and parker posey was not only one dimentional but we've already seen the hesitant shitty femal assistant. Go write something new. Where's Mercy when you need her? Seriously.

After 2 decades of well written Lex Luthor, why are we subject to this?

You like Parker Posey?

Why?

I mean, has she ever played ANYTHING but "Totally Petulant Barbie"?

Blade Trinity (which wasn't a good movie, but she was good and ryan Reynolds was good), A mighty Wind, Best in Show. most of those are testaments to direction and not her, but still, I have to give her proper credit for the performances.

Totally Vampire Barbie was the worst part of Blade Trinity - and this is a movie that also starred Triple Ken and whose plot was searching for Derek Zoolander to complete the Vampire Barbie Dream Playset.

I could have done without tripple x, but parker posey's part grew on me as the movie went on.

Dude...

Her fangs made her lisp. She's how many hundreds of years old? And her fangs made her lisp.

I agree with you on Ryan Reynolds. For Totally Vampire Barbie, I just recall being vaguely disappointed that King's tossed-off line about dentata was tongue in cheek, since the second movie did some interesting things about vampire evolution and I was hoping to see them follow it up a little.

Also, the vampire Pomeranian deserved a much better movie.

Check out "The House of Yes."

I thought Parker Posey was quite good in it. The movie's a bit odd, but in a good way, despite being a Tori Spelling vehicle (although Posey gets top billing, thankfully).

I was going to discuss the House of Yes, but you beat me to it. Posey plays insane a little too well, and makes the whole movie really.

The House of Yes validated my childhood crush on my hot-as-f*ck second cousin as a kid.

Yes, Posey plays insane well. Very well.
