Group of men caught on camera pissing on the War Memorial after Saturday's fireworks.

I'm with aimisdirty on this one. Track 'em down, arrest 'em, fine 'em - and I'll go one step he didn't. Let's make them clean it up, with their tongues. I think that last part would be a great addition to the Criminal Code of Canada.

We could apply it to taggers, too. Anything you put on a wall or box or dumpster, you can lick until it comes off. Yes, even if it takes weeks. I'm okay with that.

Some people are pigs. I take heart, however, in knowing that bacon exists.

i was here less than 48 hours ago, me and my group of friends felt like celibrating our great nations birthday in the greatest capital in the world. We were walking around the city checking out the sites (as we are from Toronto) and like university students we were goofing around and being loud and having a good time with everyone else on the streets.
When we came accross that monument i made all my friends stop and like... bask in what some of our forefathers fought for. My friends didnt understand and wanted to move on, but i did pay my respects to those in the Canadian Armed Service (as i come from a military family and i beleive in Canada as a nation).

To hear that someone pissed on that... if i was there i would instigate a mass beating from every man woman and child in ottawa on those dumbasses.
And also, is it really come to the point where people my age (im 20) dont understand why our nation stands so strong and kick ass (lol). I got an idea... take every dumbass who pulls a fucking move like this and send them to the armed service... Just walk up to whoever and tell them the reason they are being enlisted and they will come down on them the hardest way possible. Show them that a monument for the people who fought for Canada in war isnt some bullshit conservative shit (even though im liberal), its a monument, and no matter what race color or beleif system, the reason your in Canada is because of what those people fought and died for: A country that still stands strong even after 139 years.


i ranted but im not going to delete that... instead im going to go make a sandwhich and cool down.
