Okay, so everyone's talking about the movie, about how Tia's speech about the woman that Davy Jones falls in love with is very pointedly about herself, and that her locket matches Davy Jones' music box and the lock on the Dead Man's Chest exactly.

And lots of people are talking about the ring that Jack stole from Tia and wore for the rest of the movie.

What nobody else seems to have noticed so far is what happened when Davy Jones touched that ring.

When Davy Jones shakes Jack's hand and removes the Black Spot, he's shaking the hand wearing the ring.

And Jones gets his tentacle stuck. He has to yank twice to let go of Jack's hand.

And it's on-camera and it's POINTED that this happens. There's a good second of footage there and a facial expression and pointed grunt from Jones that didn't need to be there and IS really noticeable, even on a first viewing. That makes it deliberate.

I want #3, now.

There's also Davy's statement about not being able to go back on land for another decade. There is also the mention that the Isla Del Muerte (sp) had sunk under the sea.

Maybe we have Davy to thank for the return of Barbosa?

I totally missed the tentacle getting stuck on the ring.

But I did catch the monkey going strait for Barbosa's boots when it first got dropped off.

You see Barbosa's boots and legs in Tia's cabin when they bring the monkey - it goes right to the body.

At the time I was wondering why there was a body in her cabin.

I guessed Barbossa, actually, although I figured he was still dead at the time. The way the monkey ran to him, settled down, and was shown, 3 times, pawing the boots and looking distressed? I figured there was only one option about who it could be, especially for a voodoo woman who collects the odd and supernatural.

I had to smack myself tonight. Surely disney wasn't cheesey enough to draw a tie between Davy and Kingdom hearts... Sadly it looked like it was.
