I thought I read somewhere on lj that Jewish law considers human life sacred, making killing not acceptable. Nevermind the 10 commandments. Something doesn't work out here.
You're trying to change the terms of the argument. You're now talking about murder, which is against Israely law, sure; but the original comment was about "killing", which the laws of damned near every country on earth justify under some circumstances.
What argument? If anything, I was musing on how informed Israeli law is by Jewish law. Then, it occurred to me that analyzing why bounties on homosexuals is wrong doesn't even need to go to that extra spiritual/religious level.
