Colorado bans non-residents from all social services, but leaves an exemption so that children can get shelter and food. This, naturally, pisses off Republicans.
Debbie Stafford, R-Aurora, said at the caucus that she was upset that the bill exempted children under 18. "We're helping create the next generation of terrorists," she said.
Yeah, damn those terrorist children, most of whom are in your state and homeless without papers because they've been thrown out by their fundie Mormon parents, not because they're Mexicans.

...uhm...

Okay, usually I can at least guess at the logical pathways taken to arrive at statements, even if I see flaws in them or don't agree with the reasoning.

I have read the article, and tried to think about the bill, and I am still not getting Ms. Stafford.

Let me make it easy for you: She opposed it and couldn't come up with something logical, so she went for the easy scare tactic method.

I'm astounded by the logic that thinks that, by making people's lives better, we're creating the environment where they will be pissed off at the life around them and want to change it, preferrably by lashing out at the society perceived as pissing them off.

I was imagining that, you know, she's visualizing a kind of Terrorist Underground Railway where adult terrorists illegally in Colorado have to fend for themselves, but import hundreds and thousands of under-age indivudals who will be trained to Hate America while being fed and sheltered by it.

It's very confusing.

I am confused. I thought this was about illegal immigration? Which doesn't usually bring to mind Mormons?

In Colorado, a good percentage of the homeless are fundamentalist Mormon boys who've been thrown out of their homes by their parents, on the orders of the church, because you can't very well have 5 prebuscent brides per man in good standing with the church if your birth rate is still close to 50/50.

Fundamentalist Mormons are irredeemable scum.

And this isn't about illegal immigration. This is about STARVING THE UNDESIRABLES, and all brown people are undesirables.
