The university's connection is usually slow but broad. I almost never get over 20k/s, but I can get 15 of those at once, most times.

I've been getting the progress bar in the Firefox download window, but it's never progressed at all. I was surprised when this one did. I'm on 2 megabit ADSL, for the record. I can get over 200k/s going in, if the server delivers and there's no bottlenecks on the way.

That's Carleton U's server. I never had problems reaching Norway from their connection when I went there.
