[livejournal.com profile] kjn says a train actually went over this, successfully, before they realised the road was gone. The link's in Swedish, though.

EDIT: K-J has corrected me. The train was going over *as it was being washed out*, and the passengers say it happening. His Scandahoovian-fu is stronger than mine.
