HDD worked just fine, the information I wanted is stored in *windows autocomplete*, nowhere else, so unless you have a way to get that out, I think I'm going to give up on it.
The fucking Vaio is booting, with screen and all, roughly half the time at the moment. No HDD in the machine, of course, but it's starting up and I have no idea why, or why it didn't for the two weeks previous.
Autocomplete. You know, start typing something in a field and Windows fills in the rest of it for you. Useful for search engines and the like. I know how to *kill* the autocomplete data (through Internet Explorer, naturally - where else?), I just don't know how to copy it.
And not today. While I *could* get there early, I don't want to. Maybe tomorrow I'll bring it in and we can make the stupid thing work.
