Nov. 4th, 2004 09:03 pm Hey, Americans:
An update for you on your alleged "election":
In every state using paper ballots, the exit polls match the elections results.
In the one state using electronic machines with 100% paper backups, Nevada, the exit polls match the election results.
Exit polls are what people use, internationally, to determine if elections are being cheated. They're what the USA will be using in Iraq and Afghanistan if either of those ever holds a real election.
In the states using electronic voting machines with no paper trail, and in those states alone, the exit polls do *not* match the election outcome. They're several percentage points off, in favour of Bush, in every state that's used electronic machines with no paper backup. Exit polls are not 100% reliable, but *every* swing state using voting machines with no paper backup's exit polls are all off, in favour of the same candidate, by the same amount - an amount that puts him ahead of his opponent instead of behind.
Oh, and those election machines are built by supporters of that candidate, and said builders have specifically *not* closed security holes or installed any kind of accountability features, *by design*.
You do the math.
Do yourself a favour. Look it up, it's all over the place. Start here or here if you can't find somewhere on your own.
You dumb fucks.

Date: 2004-11-04 07:57 pm (UTC)We knew this would happen. We do what we can. We try to spread word of the situation and educate our fellows, but what did CNN do? What did 60 Minutes do?
Nothing.
This is the criminal negligence, to me.
What can be done now? Maybe this information will enlighten some people. Most likely not. I'm still gonna try to make my state a better place to live, and maybe my country as well.
I may joke about it, but my roots are pretty deep, here and so are Akia's. We will not be moving to Ottawa or New Zealand or Finland any time soon. We have a bad situation here, and I will do what is in my power. I can only pray enough others will also, and something will be done.

Date: 2004-11-04 08:17 pm (UTC)Because, even assuming a 5% lie factor and looking at the stats where we're reasonably certain of little to no fraud, there are still fifty-five MILLION people who voted the "we hate them fags and ragheads" ticket.
Bush announced today that he feels he has a *mandate* to implement conservative Christian goals.
Oh, and from the Daily Mirror:
