I'm torn on that. On the one hand, I think that homeopathy is quackery. On the other hand, that man's comments are totaly unprofessional, and harmful.

"holistic" and "alternative" are not synonyms for "homeopathy", although they do focus on homeopathy in the article.

After all, acupuncture has been proven to work.

Ok, what he was saying seemed to be specificaly targeting homeopathy.

But yeah, the basic concept of "holistic" medicine, for instance, is sound.

I was healed by the devil once, I think. But it was just a hurt knee, and I never did it again. Besides, I was in grade school.

Exactly what does Satan charge for his healing services? Because I'd be interested in any kind of plan that doesn't involve getting financially ass-raped like my current one...

Holy shit! I think you've discovered how to get Bush behind universal health care! You get this guy on TV, get him to start saying that people without access to standard health care may use these methods of the devil, and let GW's relgious fundamentalism take care of the rest!

Problems with the plan:
1) What if GW's faking the Jesus stuff for votes?
2) What if GW believes in the health care industry more than Jesus?
3) [livejournal.com profile] thathatedguy likes numbered lists.
4) Acceptance of his premise may lead to doctors and clergy becoming the same thing. Again.

Hmm, need to think on that...

Not believing in the devil, I wonder if devil healing would work on me... cuz seriously, I'd do it. Hell, I'm willing to test out my massage therapist's quackery when she finishes her courses on Bowan... I mean, what is there to lose but a couple of bucks? And the possibility to get better?

I know whare I lean.
