weird i had always thought that the sharpest man made thing were the obsidian (natural glass) scalpels they use for eye surgary.

i had read somewhere that the edges are close to mono-molecular.

Apparently the slidy bits and the lumps are atoms that were moving during the exposure, since the picture is actually about a 1 second exposure.
