Date: 2006-08-25 12:07 pm (UTC)I never liked Vincent, either. He was one of the characters in VII that I just went "Meh" over and ignored whenever possible. After all, with the Materia being so selectable, there really wasn't that much difference between the PCs, so I tended to use Cloud/Tifa/Red XIII or Cloud/Tifa/Barret or Barret/Tifa/Red XIII (in pretty much that order of preference, depending on who was available) in every situation except where I absolutely needed a different character for story reasons. I'd pull in Vincent over Barret sometimes if he'd gotten a better gun more recently, but that was about it.
