With a snout like that, it doesn't look like an ape...

The face and hands are definitely apelike.

They're primate like but there's no sight of the thumbs so you can't tell how well developed they are, and the muzzle/snout/whatever the hell you call it has integrated, forward-facing nostrils - that's a monkey feature, not an ape one.

It seems to go to the same hair stylists as some orangutangs, and the shape of the mouth and jaw is certainly orangutang like, but the nose, colouring, and hair pattern are not. I'll go bug the russians.

By "ape", I meant "kinda monkeyish"

I commit the cardinal taxonomical sin of calling most primates "apes" by default. I do it regularly. I do it because I don't care, and they're just monkeys who can't object.

Bang on, jerril. This is a gelada baboon. I think his grooming partner has missed the appointment, which must be why he looks sad. And scruffy.
