I must admit, I'm wildly curious to see how he does as the Joker. Especially because I've managed to miss every one of Ledger's films where he plays anything remotely close to a bad guy, and "psycho cocaine crazy supervillain" is just... not what leaps to mind when I think of him.
I'm thinking that either they're planning to go in a different direction with the character, or that was one hell of a screen test.
