Meet Doobl.
Not work safe, if bad language and cartoony snake penis is not work-safe. Yes, you did read that correctly.

A few months ago, Doobl was an inane, patently insulting to the intelligence extreme Christian webcomic, with "punchlines" like that one.

... and then, some of the characters started actualy reading the Bible, from the start.

... and discussing it with each other...

and then the phrase "Remember, it's not rape if you don't ejaculate" came into things somewhere...

This is my new favourite comic.

Read the news posts for extra hilarity.

For certain values of "hilarity". The one I found funniest was July 17:

"Is it just me or is Jack chick really not right in the head?
"some might say he's just not read the bible enough but I'm starting to think hes what happens if you read the bible all the way through."

I hope goodness and love come back into his life soon, on their own terms, not the terms of the god that failed him.

WOW. This is the coolest thing you ever found, Wease.

*still laughing*

I must be evil to take such unmitigated joy in the destruction of another man's faith in God and Jesus.

I read the news posts. Huh? We're basically watching someone's sanity, such as it was, explode in the kind of mess that leaves pinkish-gray matter all over the walls.

The sudden addition of a sense of timing and humour to the comic, as well as the smoothness of the transition into the swearing, make me suspect this is performance art on a grand scale.

Because right now, the overall message of the site is that people who lose their faith in God get to make funnier webcomics, but unfortunately they also go batshit crazy and are unlikely to survive long without medical interventions.
I have a hard time thinking of anyone who would want to send such a mixed message.

More or less my point. Today's newspost doesn't read like performance art to me. It reads like someone who has had the foundation knocked out from under his world and doesn't know how to start rebuilding; right now, he can't even imagine that rebuilding is possible.

See, I'm 60% thinking it's a hoax by a non-christain, due to that, 20% thinking 'that's me in the corner... that's me in the spotlight, loosing my religion...', and the remaining 20% thinking it's a hoax by a christian - playing it up as 'christian's world explodes', sucking people in with the incredible trainwreck before finding Jesus again, and hopefully convinceing some of the mockers that everyone can find hope. But that's probably thinking to much about it.

Either way, I can't look away.

And this summary only makes me want to read it more.

Off to add bookmarks, now.

I thought the first one posted above was the funniest.
