Cancer patient gets puppy back.

And for those concerned about the dog being left in the car: the boy's older brother drove the dog to the hospital, left it in the garage while he ran up to make sure the dog's visit would be allowed, and came back to discover the car broken into and the dog, a cellphone and the mother's purse stolen, just a few minutes later.
